KARACHI: A
trade exhibition by Lean In Pakistan, powered by LADIESFUND, entitled Treasures
and Trends - A miniature fair, took place here at LADIESFUND head office in BRR
Tower, earlier today.
Inaugurated
by Nadeem Hussain, founder and Coach of Planet N, as well as ex-President of
Tameer MicroFinance Bank, who later visited each stall and commended the
efforts of the participating ladies, it was a day-long event, which saw a variety of attractive items being
exhibited. Supported by Butterfly, the event had a total of 12 exclusive
exhibitors -- Safia Bano (Ladies Choice), Iram Fawad (I.F Designs), Asifa &
Naheed, Irum Mehar (Azure), Anadil & Zeb (Anazee), Gulshan Rashid (Natural
Beauty), Madiha Fatima (NuktiDana), Soni Faisal, Rubina Kouser(ZED MARS),
Shumaila Hadi(Alfiyah), Suriani Wong (Brow Works) and Bisma Bader (House of
BB). Anadil Khan was Event Chair Scensation
was appreciation partner.

Everyone was
seen putting forward their best work -- from jewellery and natural beauty
products to bridal and pret wear, to tattoos and hand bags and crafts. All in
all, it was a successful event with an excellent turnover, leaving buyers happy
with their purchases and exhibitors thrilled with the response.

Leanin.org
us a nonprofit organization founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandber to empower
all women in their ambitions. Lean in
Pakistan (powered by LADIESFUND) , a Lean In Circle organization, was founded
by Tara Uzra Dawood, and is authorized to use Lean in names under a license
from Leanin,Org, as part of the Regional Leaders Program – Terms of Service.
Lean In Pakistan came into being in October 2015 and had its first event In
January 2016. With 200 women participating, it was one of the largest Lean In
events in the MENA region.

M. Imran Sharif born in Hyderabad Sindh, he initially worked as a photographer with Pakistani newspaper and currently working as a special correspondent in The Financial Daily since August 2007, He began his journalistic career with Daily Imroz as a photographer.
2 years after serving in Imroz, he served as Special Correspondent of the monthly "Awami Awaz" Hyderabad.
